Are you a Statutory, 3rd Sector, or Voluntary Service working within Dumfries and Galloway?
What are you doing to promote and support this year’s ‘International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia’ (IDAHOBIT)?
Dumfries and Galloway LGBT Plus are coordinating an afternoon of activity and information on Friday 17th of May at the Robert Burns Centre Film Theatre from 1pm – 4pm to support this international event and to give those people working within the Statutory, 3rd sector, and Voluntary Services throughout our region, the opportunity to learn more about discrimination and hear directly from those who have been affected by discrimination such as homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia in our region.
For those attending, the event will create new opportunities for you to have exposure and interactions with new people and groups you may not have interacted with before, which in turn can assist in developing our capacity for empathy and learning about others and help ensure we make our services across the region more inclusive and accessible to everyone.
